Posted by Mandy on February 14th, 2008 filed in Jack DoingsWhat do you do about a baby who won’t drink fluids? All the doctor’s websites say to get them to drink fluids so they don’t dehydrate, but Jack is refusing to drink anything after an ounce (or sometimes half an ounce). He has very few wet diapers, but at least he has some. Not sure what to do, except keep checking him and trying to get him to drink every two hours. Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

We never give juice so during those “Must Hydrate” moments, I bust out a little water spiked with juice and that sometimes works. I’ve also heard popsicles can be a good time depending on the weather of course.
Hope you’re feeling better! Wanna popsicle?
